Hardware Acceleration on Rockchip SoCs

Rockchip SoCs provide hardware accelerated video processing through the Rockchip Media Process Platform (RKMPP).

Note

Support is prepared but not yet active. Emby knows about the RKMPP context type, but no detection backend for it exists yet, so Rockchip hardware is not currently offered in the transcoding configuration.

GPU Context Types

RockChip (RKMPP) is the context type reserved for this hardware.
